Zero Tolerance for Abuse
Our expectations for respectful communication and how we handle abuse in support and community channels.
Written By Daniel Nguyen
We want you to tell us when BoltAI falls short. Bug reports, complaints, negative feedback, and disagreements help us improve. You can be direct, disappointed, or frustrated and still treat people with respect.
BoltAI has zero tolerance for personal insults, harassment, threats, or abuse directed at its developer, support team, or other community members. Paying for BoltAI does not excuse abusive behavior.
Where this policy applies
This policy applies to all interactions with BoltAI across communication channels, including our feedback board, bug reports, feature requests, comments, support email, and social media.
What crosses the line
Personal insults, name-calling, or degrading remarks directed at a person.
Threats, intimidation, or attempts to pressure someone through harassment.
Discriminatory slurs or sexually harassing messages.
Sharing or threatening to share someone's private information.
Repeated unwanted contact after being asked to stop, or using other accounts or channels to bypass a ban.
Criticism and bug reports are welcome
You do not need to prove that something is a bug before reporting it. A report that turns out to describe expected behavior, a configuration issue, or a missing feature is still welcome when made in good faith.
Disagreeing with our explanation, questioning a product decision, requesting a refund, or leaving a negative review is not, by itself, abuse. We assess conduct separately from whether a report is technically correct.
Please describe what happened, what you expected, and any steps that help us reproduce the issue. Keep the discussion focused on the problem.
How we enforce this policy
Personal insults, harassment, threats, or other abuse directed at BoltAI's owners, developers, employees, contractors, or support representatives will result in immediate termination of your account and access to the Services, without prior warning, to the extent permitted by applicable law. This applies to both free and paid users, including on a first incident.
We will end abusive support conversations. We may also remove abusive posts or comments and block participation in our feedback and community channels. Using another account or channel to evade a ban is prohibited.
These actions are governed by our Terms of Use. Termination does not remove applicable privacy or consumer rights. You can contact hello@boltaisupport.com to exercise applicable rights concerning your personal information without restoring account access. Refunds remain subject to the applicable purchase terms and law.
We will treat you respectfully. We expect the same in return.
