Silent failures with Opus 5

Hi, I keep finding that Opus 5 requests fail silently. I put in a fairly long prompt, hit enter, it goes away thinking for awhile, then just stops. No response, no error, no nothing. Refreshing the prompt tends to create the same effect. If I switch to an OpenAi model, it then works. v 2.15.0 (build 84) on macOS 26.5.2

    I am having the same issue. Usually with Opus 5.5 or Fable 5.1. I am using Anthropic directly. Is there any way to debug this issue (see API requests/responses)?

      Yes. Can you follow this guide and share the export file with me via email hello@boltaisupport.com. The json only contains the json structure. It doesn’t contain your prompt, message content. Thanks

      Also can you try the v2.17.2 I recently released. I did have a bug fix for Anthropic models in this release.

          Hi @Daniel Nguyen , unfortunately, I encountered this issue again today. I submitted a prompt to Claude Opus 5.5, which appeared to process it for several seconds before returning no response, error message, or other feedback. I am on v2.17.2.

            I released v2.17.3, can you give it a try. Also can you make sure you gave it enough max_output_token. Check the inspector pane and what is the Max Token setting?

            If it still happens, can you follow this guide and share the diagnosis log with me (it doesn’t contain content - only json structure and error details)

    Are you using Anthropic directly, OpenRouter, or another provider for Opus? I’ve fixed a case where an empty response could finish without showing an error, but I want to confirm whether it matches your setup.
