Preview window state cannot be identified

When using workflows, the Preview window is great.

However, if you click away, you can't tell that it's no longer active, and if you click back, you can't tell that it's become active again.

Should there be some kind of active / inactive state?

Could be as simple as the blue focus getting more/less vibrant?
