Hi, Thanks for the detailed report, the raw error helps a lot.

Anthropic rejects the request because one earlier turn in that chat has two tool calls saved without their results. Once that’s in a chat’s history, every message in that chat fails, whichever model you pick. That’s why switching to Haiku didn’t help.

To find out how that turn got saved, could you record one failing request for me?

    1. Open Settings › Developer › AI Traffic Recording and click Start Recording.

    2. Go to a chat that shows the error and send any message.

    3. Back in Settings, click Stop Recording, then Export Recording…

    4. Email the file to hello@boltaisupport.com. Please don’t attach it here, since this board is public.

The recording keeps only the structure of the request and diagnostic data: field layout, event order, tool names, error codes and timing. Your prompts, the replies, tool inputs and results, file names, attachments and API keys are all replaced with redaction markers. You can open the file in any text editor and check it before you send it.

Three quick questions would also help:

    • Did this chat start on the BoltAI mobile app and continue on the Mac?

    • Did you change the model or provider partway through it, for example from Anthropic to OpenRouter or BoltAI’s built-in service?

    • Which tools were on: web search, MCP servers, skills, something else?

Until then, starting a new chat should work, though from your report it may break again after a few tool turns. I’ll keep you posted.
